¡Baila Conmigo!/Dance With Me! is hiring enthusiastic, qualified part-time front desk associate(s). These positions begin immediately. As our front desk associate, you are the first impression that greets each parent and student, and you are the Studio Director’s right hand. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have

• Proven work experience as an administrative assistant or front desk associate
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish
• Integrity and professionalism, including keeping confidential information confidential
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite & Google Business tools
• Willingness to learn dance studio management and contact management software 
• Experience with managing online social media marketing campaigns such as Instagram, Facebook, newsletters, You Tube, and TikTok

Responsibilities: Please consider before applying that the position includes each of the responsibilities below

• Greet all visitors to the studio in a pleasant and welcoming manner
• Student registration and other data entry
• Translate inquiries from Spanish-speaking parents for Studio Director and instructors
• Translate printed materials and web content from English to Spanish
• Answer and return phone calls; respond to general email correspondence in a professional manner
• Support and facilitate social media and e-mail marketing campaigns
• Maintain front desk and lobby area cleanliness
• Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions
• Provide support during recitals, performances, and special events outside of normal work hours. 

Schedule: is flexible based on your availability

Work Location: One location in near west suburbs. Must have reliable transportation

Starting Salary: Hourly, depending on skills and experience.

• High school diploma or higher preferred, although high school seniors with reliable transportation and exceptional work ethic are also eligible.

We are hiring for the following categories of teachers: 

1. Early childhood educators with a love of dance and a few years dance training and performing experience You will be primarily teaching preschooler and beginning level ballet, tumbling, and hip hop classes. 

2. Ballet, Acrobatics, Tap, Jazz, Mexican Folkloric, Hip-Hop Instructors: well-rounded dancers with a few years of dance training and performing experience. The position involves teaching children from 3 years of age and up through teens. A college degree in dance is very nice, but not required for the job. Class times range from 30-45 minutes.

3. Piano and voice:  Lots of experience and a music degree not required although that is a huge plus. The position involves teaching children and potentially adults in private one-on-one 30 minute lessons on our baby grand piano. 

Other Requirements:

1. Must be a cheerful, personable team player with the ability to communicate well with others, especially children and their parents. Must LOVE working with children!  

2. An energetic and positive attitude is essential and teaching experience with children is preferred. 

3. You must have reliable transportation and be reliable yourself. 

4. Must be knowledgeable in the proper performing arts techniques and be able to demonstrate them in a trial teaching setting. 

5. Prepare choreography or musical selections for winter and spring showcases. 

6. Attend recitals, performances, and special events outside of normal work hours. Occasional local travel involved

7. In addition to a positive work environment, we provide quality orientation for our new teachers while shadowing them throughout the process.

Schedule is flexible based on your availability:

• Weekdays, Evening, Saturday or Sunday Classes

• May include Desk Hours if you are open to that

• Spanish/English bi-lingual a HUGE plus

• Work location: in person instruction at the studio

Pay: Negotiable based on skills, experience, your student following and retention rates. Pay increases awarded for reaching student enrollment goals.
