In addition to delivering a unique experience rooted in our core values, Margo Ruark, the owner of ¡Baila Conmigo! / Dance With Me!, belongs to the Dance Studio Owners Association Inner Circle. This is an educational mentorship program of over 350 studios worldwide, and this studio is one of three studios in the greater Chicago metropolitan area (out of 400+ studios areawide) that is part of this exclusive program. Each month we participate in coaching calls, Pro Classes, business mentorship with the industry's leading experts, one on one planning sessions and more! Margo has her finger on the pulse of what is going on in the dance industry at all times and gains a wide-range of knowledge in best practices from around the globe. This means your dancers are getting the best dance education and team coaching experience there is!

Enrollment for the 2026-27 season is open June 1 through March 31, as space allows. After March 31, 2027 enrollment closes for the spring season, but summer registration is open!

See the Dress Code section. Absolutely everything is available in all sizes through our online store. 

Group make-up classes are offered generously if classes are missed due to illness or weather cancellations and if notice has been given to the office for school, religious, or family events. Make-up classes will be limited to three per session. No refunds will be given for missed classes. Private students can make up a missed class in a group class.

The registration fee covers administrative expenses for having each student participate at the studio. Examples of these fees include, but are not limited to: setting up each student in the system, account monitoring, music cutting fee, music licensing, SPOT-TV access, and scheduling. The registration fee is paid by all students once per year and is nonrefundable.

A non-refundable recital fee of $109.04 per student will be charged on April 1, 2027.

The recital fee helps cover the many production costs involved in creating a well-organized and memorable recital experience, including venue rental, technical crew, security, photography expenses, additional staffing and insurance, printing, production supplies, recital T-shirts, awards, and student gifts.

This fee supports the recital experience as a whole and is separate from tuition, costumes, and tickets.

Our 2027 Spring Recital will take place at the Kehrein Center for the Arts, 5628 W. Washington Blvd., Chicago, on Saturday, June 12, 2027, with two performances:

1:00 p.m. Show — Dress rehearsal Thursday, June 10
3:30 p.m. Show — Dress rehearsal Friday, June 11

Your child will be assigned to a specific performance and its corresponding dress rehearsal sometime in November. Please read all studio emails carefully throughout the spring for your child’s recital assignments, schedules, deadlines, and other important information.

All dancers enrolled in ongoing group classes participate in the spring recital. Children enrolled in combination classes (ballet/hip hop, for example) will have two dances in the recital. 

Students enrolled in short term classes do not perform in the recital. 

Costume fees are removed from your account if you withdraw before January 15, when they are due. After January 15, costume fees are non-refundable due to return, restocking, and shipping costs. If you withdraw your child and wish to keep the costume, costumes must be picked up on or before June 15 due to our very limited storage space; unclaimed costumes will be considered abandoned and will be donated to charity after 30 days.

We typically do not allow parents to sit inside the studio classroom to watch their child's dance class. We have found that there is better rapport between the teachers and students if the parents are not in the classroom. Parents can wait in our lobby and watch a live stream of the class through our closed circuit television system, SPOT-TV. Parents can also subscribe to our live stream app to watch the class from their mobile device anywhere! 

Yes, our studios are equipped with floor to ceiling mirrors, sprung floating floors, and speaker systems making them the ideal place to hold a private event like a birthday party, quinceañera, a rehearsal for theatre or a dance performance. Our facilities have been completely updated and remodeled in 2023. You can read more about facility rental here and also check with the front desk for availability and total pricing.
